If you are planning on booking a cruise trip I am going to let you in on a little secret... you never have to pay full price again for any cruise vacation! Want to know how? Well you just need to know the right places to look!
Most people book their cruise holiday through a travel agent or directly through the cruise line they want to be sailing with. If you use that method you will always end up paying full price.
If you want to get your next cruise at the cheapest price possible you really need to check out the three website's listed below to get to grab yourself a bargain!
Vacations To Go
Vacations To Go was the company we used to book our first ever cruise and let me tell you why...
We had plans to visit the USA (our first time) and wanted to visit Alaska. However after researching the cost of flights, car hire and accommodation in Alaska we discovered this was an expensive state to visit!
After a little more research I found out that cruising in Alaska was more in our price range PLUS by taking a cruise we would be able to visit south-east Alaska; an area that is hard to travel to and one of the most beautiful parts of the Land of the Midnight Sun. I was sold! Especially because of how cheap this cruise deal was that I had stumbled upon.
I don't remember how I found vacationstogo.com but it is now one of my favorite websites to keep checking for travel deals!!!
Our 7 night cruise with Princess only cost us $545 per person! That meant it only cost us about $77 a night for a room, meals, entertainment and transportation!
How Does Vacations To Go Work?
To find the best cruise deals on vacationstogo.com you should sign up to become a member (it's free) which allows you to access their 90 Day Ticketer deals.
These are cruise deals that will be departing within the next three months and have had their cabin prices slashed by usually over 50%.
Even if you are not a last minute kind of person, this company still offers amazing deals for ports all over the world!
As you can see below you can narrow your search to what month you plan to travel, what port you would like to depart from(and whether you want to return to the same port) or choose by your preferred cruise line.
The next online cruise vacations website with really great deals is Cruise Direct.
We booked a cruise trip to Mexico leaving from Los Angeles for 3 nights and this only cost us $137 per person! I'm not kidding you!
You know what else? We brought my mother along and all she had to pay was taxes.... Yes that's right, she didn't even have to pay.
What I like about Cruise Direct is that besides cheap deals on cruise vacations, they also have great offers such as giving shipboard credit or free land activities for upgrading rooms. At the time that I write this they have a deal going where the second passenger gets 50% off.
Here are some examples of deals Cruise Direct have going:

Another good website with good deals on cruise ship vacations is Cheap Tickets who I have recently discovered.
I have not yet booked a cruise trip through them (although I have purchased other great deals using their company such as event tickets) but I do like to keep an eye on this website for bargains.
Cheap Tickets have cruise deals in the USA, Bahama's, Carribean and Europe but I have not seen any cruises departing from Australia as of yet.
If you have any of your own secrets you would like to share on finding cheap cruise fares please share with us in the comments section below.
